In 1981 the City and Community of Anderson indentified the need for an event that would promote music in the South Shasta County area. That summer saw the establishment of the highly successful Mosquito Serenade Summer Concert Series. One of the most recognized summer music series north of Sacramento.

Having the newest renovated amphitheatre and venue in Northern California for the presentation of local, international and national artist. This 10 week music series has showcased some of the biggest artists in a variety of musical styles on the banks of the Sacramento River in beautiful Anderson River Park.

With the support of the local community, businesses, individuals and the "passing of the bucket", this FREE summer concert series continues to entertain and bring professional talent to the North State for years to come!

Put on your dancing shoes, bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets and join us on Wednesday evenings in Anderson River Park.
